US Shipping & Tariffs FAQ
Why is there a new shipping process for the US?
As of late 2025, the US Government Trump Administration updated import regulations (specifically the removal of the $800 de minimis threshold). This means every package entering the USA is now subject to mandatory import tariffs the customer must pay, regardless of the order value.
Will I have to pay anything when my package arrives?
No. We ship all our US orders DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). We have integrated the mandatory US tariffs directly into our checkout. This ensures your order is cleared by US Customs before it even arrives in the country, so you won’t receive any unexpected bills or "pay-on-delivery" requests.
How are the US tariffs calculated?
The tariff is based on the type of product (e.g., educational toys, acrylic puzzles) and its value. We have adjusted the shipping costs individually for each product to include these government fees into your final shipping cost.
Why did Australia Post pause and then resume shipping?
Australia Post temporarily paused US shipping in 2025 to update their systems for the new US Customs "Electronic Advance Data" requirements. Now that they have resumed, we are able to ship safely and legally with all paperwork pre-filed to ensure your package isn't held up at the border.
Is my personal information safe?
Under the new 2026 US Customs rules, high-value shipments (usually over $2,500) may require a Tax ID or Social Security Number for formal entry. However, for most Toddle Way orders, our shipping partner handles the clearance on your behalf using the standard information provided at checkout.

What are your domestic shipping rates?
We offer a simple $5 Flat Rate shipping on all Australian orders.
Do you offer Free Shipping in Australia?
Yes! If your order total is over $100, shipping is on us. This will be automatically applied at checkout.
How long will my order take?
We are based in Melbourne. Standard shipping typically takes 3–7 business days depending on your location. Express options are available at checkout if you're in a hurry for that LightPad!
